Description
While studying film in her native New Zealand, Angela Osborne began working at a wine shop to get by. Her friend convinced her to work harvest in California, and after spending extensive time with the Grenache variety, Angela found a new passion for winemaking. Today, Angela works with sustainably-farmed Grenache from Santa Barbara and the Sierra Foothills, which she vinifies in neutral oak with meticulous attention to detail. Fruit for Besson comes from a historic vineyard site planted in 1910. These head-trained vines are rooted into gravelly clay loam soils and are dry-farmed/biodynamically farmed. The name A Tribute to Grace pays homage to Angelas grandmother.
