Black Winter Truffle’s are the most iconic truffle with its coarse exterior, jet-black interior and bright white veining. Boasting a strong aroma of chocolate, hazelnut and earth that brighten intensity over warm dishes and when infused in fats. Fold into dishes, or shave slices tableside for an impactful presentation. For the Northern Hemisphere, Black winter truffles season begins in early December and lasts into late March being foraged in Southern France and Northern & Central Italy. For the Southern Hemisphere, the season begins in late June and lasts through early August and product originating primarily from Australia and small amounts from Chile
