Description
This varietal Pinot Noir comes from 45 to 80-year-old vines rooted in clay-limestone soils. Clusters are whole-bunch fermented in vats and aged for 18 months in barrel, 85% of which is new. Concentrated notes of black cherries, strawberry skin, black pepper, cardamom, and mushrooms dominate the wines complex and layered palate. Wed lay this one down and revisit in 5-10 years.
