Description
Founded in 1931 by Francks grandfather, the Balthazar family estate began bottling wines under their own name in 1980. Parcels are fermented separately, stems are included, and aging is done in demi-muids. Cuve Casimir pays homage to Francks grandfather andferments with 100% whole bunches and native yeasts. Red fruits on the nose give way to a hearty palate of cherries, red fruits, wet earth, and smoke, leading to a crunchy and mouth filling finish.
